On November 22, at the premises of the Diplomatic Mission members of the Public Union of Ukrainian-Kuwaiti Friendship conducted a commemorative gathering devoted to the Remembrance Day of victims of the famines (Holodomors) in Ukraine.

Participants of the meeting joined the all-Ukrainian action «Light a Candle» and held a minute of silence and memorial prayer in memory of those who died during the Great Holodomor of 1932-1933 and other Ukrainian nation’s tragedies.

The guests also got opportunity to watch the documentary «Great Famine» as well as visit a special historical exhibition.

During the event, Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait Volodymyr Tolkach held a briefing for local mass media.
