On October, 14 in the premises of the diplomatic mission a solemn meeting of the Public Union of Ukrainian-Kuwaiti on the occasion of holiday of Intercession of the Theotokos and Day of Defender of Ukraine was hold.

The evening began with the Ambassador’s Volodymyr Tolkach speech that encouraged uniting Ukrainian people in the traditions of its national liberation movements and maintaining a high spiritual morality. The guest, Deputy Head of Mission of Apostolic Nunciature in the State of Kuwait Mons. Andriy explained religious aspects of holiday of Intercession of the Theotokos.

Local Ukrainian community initiated raising funds for rehabilitation of the military personnel injured during anti-terrorist operation.
