On May, 9 2011 the Ambassador of Ukraine in the State of Kuwait Volodymyr Tolkach took part in the festivities devoted to celebration of the 66th anniversary of Victory Day.

Ceremony of celebrating commemoration was organized by the Russian Club at the TIES Center, which unites the Kuwaitis who studied in universities of the then USSR or have relatives in the republics of the former Soviet Union.

In the speech, delivered during the event, Ambassador of Ukraine Volodymyr Tolkach, in particular, urged the participants to preserve the memory about the sacrifice, whose brought the Victory and noted importance of building of modern world on the base of unity, peace, mutual respect and common human values.
